Prior to joining Lozano Smith, Mr. Thimmig spent more than 10 years at a firm specializing in public finance where he primarily served as Disclosure Counsel to California public agency clients in connection with their issuance of debt into the public markets. Mr. Thimmig has extensive experience assisting K-12 school districts, cities, counties, publicly owned utilities and enterprises, and special districts throughout California with their finance needs. Mr. Thimmig has participated in financings including the issuance of general obligation bonds, certificates of participation and lease revenue bonds, bonds secured by enterprise net revenues and bonds secured by dedicated special revenue sources.
Education
Mr. Thimmig earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law, following a Bachelor Arts from St. John's College in Annapolis, MD.
