Ms. Belmonte has experience in conducting corporate due diligence; drafting corporate formation and governance documents; drafting intellectual property and licensing agreements; drafting and reviewing employment agreements and handbooks; and researching current changes in employment and labor law and policy. She is skilled in performing legal research; drafting memos and reports for clients; and researching relevant case law.
Education
Ms. Belmonte earned her law degree from the University of Washington School of Law, where she was Senior Articles Editor of the Washington Journal of Law, Technology, & Arts, as well as the Senior Editor of the Washington Education Law and Policy Review. She earned a Master of Laws from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. At UCLA, she specialized in both Business Law & Taxation; and Media, Entertainment, and Technology Law & Policy. She earned a Master of Arts in Journalism from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English (Highest Honors) from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
