Overview

Arielle Percival is an Associate in Lozano Smith's Sacramento office. She is an experienced transactional attorney and focuses her practice on facilities, business, and governance matters for her public agency clients.

Experience

She frequently advises school districts, community colleges, county offices of education and special districts on real property transactions, facility use, Surplus Land Act requirements, construction contracting and public procurement, California Public Records Act compliance, and general governance issues. Ms. Percival regularly conducts workshops and presentations on a variety of emerging topics.

She is also experienced in drafting and negotiating intellectual property licensing agreements, employment agreements, and entity formation. She has litigation experience in the areas of breach of contract disputes, construction law, and wage and hour claims. As part of the litigation process, Ms. Percival has drafted pleadings and propounded and responded to written discovery.

Education

Ms. Percival earned her Juris Doctor with distinction from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. While at McGeorge, Ms. Percival was a Comment and Legislative Staff Writer for The University of the Pacific Law Review, as well as a recipient of the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence for Written Discovery. Prior to law school, Ms. Percival earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon.
