Lozano Smith Announces Three New Equity Partners

Fresno, CA (January 2, 2019) – Lozano Smith, LLP, a leading California education and public agency law firm, is pleased to announce that Dulcinea Grantham, Megan Macy and Tom Manniello have been promoted to Lozano Smith's equity partnership.

Meet the New Equity Partners:


Dulcinea Grantham

Since joining the Firm in 2005, Dulcinea has used her extraordinary skill at navigating California's complex public sector labor and employment laws to help guide educational agencies around the state. Dulcinea has served as co-chair of Lozano Smith's Labor and Employment Practice Group since 2009 and continues in that position today. She regularly presents on behalf of leading California associations, while also serving as a key contributor to the firm's Client News Brief program and Let's Talk podcast series.

Megan Macy

During the summer of 2001, Megan began working as a first-year student law clerk and joined the firm after graduating in August 2003. She has since held several leadership positions within the firm, including serving as Sacramento's office managing partner, Facilities and Business Practice Group co-chair, and a member of the firm's Organizational Learning Committee. Her practice areas include labor and employment, charter schools, facilities and business, and litigation. Megan was the lead attorney in the ground-breaking case of Anderson Union High School District v. Shasta Secondary Home School.

Tom Manniello

Tom joined the firm's Monterey office in 2001 and has built expertise in nearly all of the firm's practice areas. Tom has served as chair of Lozano Smith's Litigation Practice Group and Student Practice Group and is now an integral member of the Labor and Employment Practice Group. Notably, Tom has become an authority on pension issues and collective bargaining. Currently serving as the office managing partner of the Monterey Office, Tom is a frequent speaker and trainer for clients and associations throughout California.
