Lozano Smith Continues to Add Attorneys and Expertise

Fresno, CA (March 12, 2012) - Lozano Smith is pleased to announce that it has added three new attorneys to its firm: Sarah Garcia, Benjamin Rosenbaum and Karin Wahlstrom.

Sarah Garcia has joined the Walnut Creek office as Senior Counsel where she will primarily represent school districts on Special Education and Student issues. Prior to joining Lozano Smith, Ms. Garcia worked as Special Counsel in the San Francisco area focusing on mediations, due process hearings, expulsion proceedings and training to governing boards regarding the Brown Act and conflict of interest laws. Ms. Garcia received her Juris Doctor
degree from the University of California, Hastings College of Law. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of the Pacific.

Benjamin Rosenbaum has joined the Fresno office as an Associate Attorney. He will focus on Facilities and Business issues for public school districts. Prior to joining Lozano Smith, Mr. Rosenbaum provided broad litigation and transactional services. Mr. Rosenbaum earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Davis School of Law. He earned his undergraduate degree from Fresno Pacific University.

Karin Wahlstrom has joined the San Diego office as an Associate Attorney where she will specialize in the Labor and Employment, Special Education and Student aspects of education law. She most recently served as Staff Attorney at the Center for Education Policy and Law. Ms. Wahlstrom received her Juris Doctor degree from University of San Diego School of Law. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego.
