Making an Earth Day Commitment

Friday, April
22, 2011 marks the 41st anniversary of Earth Day which will be
celebrated worldwide. This milestone has prompted Lozano Smith to make a
commitment to being earth-friendly.
Here are some
of the GREEN practices that Lozano Smith has put in place:
Include a statement on email (Please consider the environment before
printing this e-mail)
Use
recycled paper in all 8 offices
Use
electronic documents where possible, including for our clients
Recycle toner cartridges in all offices
Recycle paper in all offices and receive annual reports on
how many trees were saved
Utilize conference calls and webinars to reduce travel for employees
and clients
Carpool to client meetings and events
Use
real silverware, cups and plates in lunch rooms instead of paper and
plastic
Distribute internal company correspondence electronically via email
and extranet rather than by paper
These are just
some of the efforts that Lozano Smith is making to preserve resources.
The Green
Movement requires business decisions to be made with environmental
