This session provides a practical overview of building and supporting hiring committees that conduct consistent, compliant, and effective interviews. Attendees will review the legally required framework for EEO Hiring Trainings, including the role of training in preparing committee members to participate meaningfully and responsibly in the process. The session will also cover strategies for maintaining compliant hiring committees, keeping the process on track during recruitment and interviews, and dealing with the increase in which Districts are hiring on an ongoing basis. With many Districts hiring on an ongoing basis, presenters will address how to sustain well-trained committees over time. Participants will leave with clear approaches to strengthening hiring practices, improving coordination among committee members, and maintaining alignment with institutional policies and expectations.This event is reserved for school district or public agency employees only.
