Michael Caldwell is an Associate in Lozano Smith's Visalia office. Mr. Caldwell’s practice covers an extensive range of litigation matters for public agency clients.

Experience

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Caldwell served as a Supervising Deputy District Attorney with the Tulare County District Attorney's Office, where he gained significant litigation and courtroom experience handling complex criminal matters. His experience encompasses all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, motion practice, evidentiary hearings, jury trials, and appellate proceedings. He also served as an attorney in special divisions, including general prosecutions and special crimes. Mr. Caldwell has provided training to every law enforcement agency in Tulare County, and served as a liaison between law enforcement and the District Attorney’s office.

Education

Mr. Caldwell earned his Juris Doctor from Western State College of Law. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of San Diego.
