Adam Goldberg is an Associate in Lozano Smith’s San Diego Office. Mr. Goldberg’s practice is primarily focused on serving public agencies in the areas of labor and employment, governance matters, and investigations.

Experience

Mr. Goldberg assists K-12 and community college district clients with various labor and employment issues, including employee discipline, discrimination claims, and leaves. Mr. Goldberg assists with investigations, and he regularly advises employers through the investigation process. He also handles governance matters, including Public Records Act and Brown Act compliance.

Prior to joining Lozano Smith, Mr. Goldberg was a Legal Advocate at the Workers' Rights Clinic at the University of San Diego, where he conducted interviews, developed litigation skills, and represented clients with wage claims. Additionally, he possesses an extensive background in finance, including compliance and audit risk assessment.

Education

Mr. Goldberg earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, following a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, San Marcos.
