Sirenia Sabo is Senior Counsel at Lozano Smith. Her practice focuses on providing counsel to school districts in the areas of labor and employment, students, investigations and governance.

Experience

Ms. Sabo advises clients on a variety of legal matters including labor relations, employee discipline and dismissals, unfair labor practice proceedings, complaints and investigations, Public Records Act and the Brown Act.

Ms. Sabo has a wide-array of experience prior to practicing as an attorney. She clerked with the Modesto City Attorney's Office and Immigration Community Legal Services. She also studied abroad under Supreme Court Justice Kennedy in Salzburg, Austria. Ms. Sabo is fluent in Spanish.

Ms. Sabo is frequently asked to present a variety of legal topics for school district administrators. Topics include sexual harassment prevention training, Uniform Complaint Procedures, investigations, and employee discipline.

Ms. Sabo earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and her B.S. from California State University, Stanislaus.
