Introduction

For most people, ethics are aspirational guidelines for how we
ought to or want to conduct ourselves. Public service entails
additional legal requirements that set forth minimum
standards of behavior and codes of conduct. When abiding by

ethics laws, remember that public perceptions are as
important as compliance with technical rules.
