           >  Must seek parental consent and invite a representative from any agency “that is likely to be responsible for providing or
            paying for transition services.” (34 C.F.R. § 300.321 (b)(3).)

           >  A statement of needed transition services is a required content element for an IEP, but no specific format is required.
           >  With the 2006 IDEA Part B regulations, the Department of Education included a “Model IEP form”, which included a format
            for transition IEP content. (34 C.F.R. § 300.320 (b).)
           >  Initiate transition services at a younger age where severe disabilities create risk of dropping out. IDEA standards then
            apply. (Questions and Answers on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Evaluations, and Reevaluations, 111 LRP 63322
            (OSERS 09/01/11).)
           >  Do not unilaterally delegate transition responsibilities to parents. (See In re Child with Disabilities, 21 IDELR 624 (SEA CT
